Online applications are invited immediately after the announcement of PUC/12th standard results.

STEP 1: Interested students who wish to apply for any UG or PG course shall login to the college website through the following url i.e., http://www.sjec.edu.in, visit admission segment and read all the details pertaining to institution, course and admission procedure.

STEP 2: Once you read all the details keep all the necessary documents in the soft form for uploading. Start filling the details in the entire field and submit the online registration form

STEP 3: The candidate is expected to bring the printout of filled-in online application form along with all the required documents for validation and pay the prescribed application fees to the admission office

STEP 4: The Admission office scrutinizes the application form and verifies the necessary documents and acknowledges the same to respective candidates confirming their eligibility for personal interview

Step 5: The personal interview is conducted to all qualified candidates along with the parents by the admission committee

Step 6: The candidate along with the parents are send to the Principal’s office for the final round of interview. After, the interview with the Principal, the candidate is send to the admission office to submit the application form signed by the admission committee and the principal

Step 7: The admission office issues the fee challan to the selected candidate directing him/her to pay the prescribed fee to South Indian Bank, Brigade road within the prescribed date and time

  • Check the website/college office for details.
  • Make sure of the course you are applying for.
  • Students of ISC, CBSE, both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka, and other Boards awaiting their results are required to submit their application online.
  • Candidate should have a personal Email ID, as well as Parents' Email ID and Mobile numbers.
  • Have a scanned copy of the recently taken passport size (35mm X 45mm or 98px X 128px) color photograph (soft copy),with photograph (formal attire) with white background and less than 100 KB. (MM= Millimeter; Px =Pixels) in jpg/jpeg format. The photo should not be blurred or defaced. Selfies and cropped images are not acceptable.
  • Have a scanned copy of Signature of the Student with size less than 100 KB. in jpg/jpeg format. Use a Black Ball pen only.
  • X Std. Marks Card to be used as a reference document to enter your personal details such as name, parent name, date of birth etc.
  • Marks of the respective subjects including that of languages should be entered
  • Copy of Marks card(s) of the final examination of 10th standard, 11th standard/I PUC and the 12th standard /II PUC, if available has to be entered where ever applicable.
  • In the event of cancellation of admission from the programme the fee refund is as per the UGC regulation. The application processing fees and admission registration fees is Non-refundable.
  • The college does not accept capitation/donations for admissions. In case such a demand is made by anyone you are requested to bring it to the notice, in writing, to the Principal of the College or the Vice President, Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society, Jesuit Nivas, 35, Museum Road, Bengaluru– 560 025.
  • The decision of the Admission Committee, St. Josephs Evening College (Autonomous) Bengaluru, will be final and binding in all matters concerning admission.

  • Step1:
    Application Forms should be filled (fill-in all applicable fields) and submitted online through the college website (www.sjec.edu.in).
  • Step2(Mandatory):
    As soon as the results are announced the marks should be entered online and submitted online on or before the deadlines mentioned in the website.
  • Step3:
    The final list of the provisionally selected candidates and the schedule of the interview/orientation can be viewed on our website. The same list will also be displayed on the College notice board.
  • Step4:
    • Applicants who are selected for the interview/orientation should bring along with them the hard copy of the application form, Photocopies of marks cards, caste certificate (if applicable).
    • Applicants who are Roman Catholics are expected to get a letter from the Parish Priest at the time of interview/orientation.
    • Provisionally selected candidates have to appear in formal attire with their parents for the interview/orientation.
    • It is Mandatory while attending the interview/orientation the candidates have to produce the following documents
  • Step5:
    After the final round of the interview is over, the selected candidates should pay their fees within 24 hours. The fee structure will be displayed on the college notice board at the time of admission.
