Tejas - Inauguration

The inaugural ceremony for the intra-collegiate fest of St. Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous), “Tejas”, was held on Monday 23rd July 2018 at 8.45 p.m. in the quadrangle. Tejas would be a platform for the students to evolve in various aspects of life. Professor Prashanth Kumar, HOD, Department of Economics, formally welcomed all the dignitaries present on the dais and the participants, colleagues and students from the college. He mentioned the significance of Tejas. The dignitaries of the day were Dr. Albert Smith, the principal of the college, Dr. Priya, the vice-principal, and Dr. Mathew, professor, Department of Kannada.
The ceremony commenced with a welcome dance by the college dance team. Dr. Albert Smith described the importance of Tejas and motivated everyone to actively participate in it. Dr. Mathew also spoke a few words about Tejas and how to utilize our talents.
The dignitaries then released the poster of Tejas 2018- 19. There was also a video clipping regarding it. At the end, Sahana (BBA) proposed a vote of thanks to all. She thanked all the invited guests and participants for gracing the occasion with their solemn presence.
