The Bembala Outreach, St Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous) collaborated with Aarogya Seva, Government of Karnataka, and BBMP for a COVID Vaccination Drive from January 16 to January 18, 2021. The vaccination drive took place more than six hospitals and health centres: Victoria Hospital, CV Raman Hospital, BMCRI, K.C. General Hospital, UPHC, and Bowring and Lady Curzon Medical College and Research Institute.

The staff and students of SJEC actively participated in the vaccination drive by assisting the hospital staff in verifying documents, and ensuring that physical distancing was practiced.

“We thank and appreciate each student for their spirit of volunteerism in the historic Covid Vaccination Drive. Let’s continue to give our best to do something good for the society that we live in,” said Mr Ebenezer Sam, Faculty Co-ordinator, Bembala Outreach.
