The Bembala Outreach, St Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous) organised a series of events on January 26, 2021 to mark Republic Day. The Outreach unit organised saplings plantation drive and cleanliness drive at Government school, Shivajinagar. A flag hoisting and awareness programme was held at Siddapura slum. The Outreach staff also organised fun games for children in the slum.

Some of the staff and the students took part in the farmers’ protest in Freedom Park organised by the Karnataka Farmers’ Association. The volunteers distributed food packets to farmers.
