Biography :
Dr. Albert Joseph smith is a humble alumnus of SJEC, having pursued PU & Degree in the evening college, Masters in Political Science from Bangalore University in 1998 and with over 22 years of teaching at different levels in an interdisciplinary mode. He pursed his Masters in History, English, Business Administration; M.Phil. Political Science, Ph.D. Political Science, B.Ed. (2 years CBCS) and has also cleared NET, SLET & KSET.
He has attended more than 100 seminars, workshops, conferences and lectures. He has published few articles and books. He has delivered lectures on Soft skills, Leadership, Orientation, Inter-religious, Guest lectures, Human rights.
He has organised National/state level seminars, Lectures & Talks on Legal Literacy, Workshops, College day, Graduation day, Sports activities, Convocation, Diploma in human rights programs, Alcoholic Anonymous, Anti-suicide campaign, World aids day, Christmas Celebration, Community service, Outreach program, Spiritual activities, College music team, EMCEE of Programmes.
He has been a internal and external member of important committees in many colleges.
His area of specialization has been Foreign Policy, Indian Constitution, Public administration, International Relations, Political Theory, Management studies; and Indian, Karnataka, European, American History as well as American Literature.
