Biography :
Dr. Christopher Hoskins professor, and head of the department of political science, director and initiator of diploma in human rights studies at St. Joseph’s evening college. He earned a BA degree from the University of Bangalore and continued to pursue his post-graduation, master of philosophy and doctoral studies from the same university. He earned his doctorate in the year 1998 after eight years of intense research in Indian foreign policy the field of his specialization. He has published a book on the human rights studies which is basically thee course material for the ongoing diploma in human rights studies. He organized three national level seminars on climate change, human rights of the vulnerable sections of society and the conference on the decline of social sciences. He has participated in a number of conferences, seminars and panel discussions organized by various universities and colleges.
