St. Joseph’s Evening College (SJEC) wore a festive look on December 20, 2019, as the SJEC family
celebrated Christmas in grandeur at St. Joseph’s Boys High School Auditorium at 5:00 pm. The event
began with a prayer. The Chief Guest for the day was Auto Raja, founder of The Home of Hope. Auto
Raja shared his life’s experiences that changed the phase of his life from a criminal to a socially
concerned person. He revealed that his inspiration was Jesus Christ.
The audience witnessed a fantastic performance of carol singing in Kannada and English by the
faculty of SJEC. Followed by carols, the college choir brought in the festive mood with a rendition of
carols. As the jingle bells song began, the Santa Clauses of SJEC entertained the audience and
showered them with chocolates.
A skit was performed by the students that spread the message of moral inclusivity and religious
harmony. Followed by the skit, a gospel video was released that was sung and performed by Mr. Leo
Gladwin, Assistant Professor, Department of BBA.
For the students of SJEC, it was a Merry Christmas indeed as a special prize was awarded to III BCA,
the winners of March-past which was part of the Sports Day.
