On January 31, 2020, a felicitation ceremony was held for Mr. Joel Paul P, administrative staff, SJEC, who retired from his service. The entire staff of SJEC along with the Rector and Director of SJEC, Brian Pereira S.J; the Principal, Dr. Albert Joseph Smith; and Vice Principal, Dr. Priya, gathered to bid goodbye to Mr. Joel.

Mr. Joel who served more than 30 years in the institution remembered his good old days, and thanked the Jesuits for the love and support bestowed upon him over the years. Mr. Yesudas, office assistant, remembers him as a hard and honest worker who never had a friction with anybody in the institution.
