On December 19, 2017, the students from the commerce department of St. Joseph’s Evening College organized a food fest in the college quadrangle as part of the Harmony Association. The fest represented brotherhood among the students in bringing together different styles of food from different cultures. The event was organized by Namrutha Ma’am.
12 stalls were set up, serving a variety of dishes ranging from chaats and desserts to rolls and other popular treats. The stalls were open to the students and staff from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm and during the evening break after the second hour of class. Students thronged the stalls in droves to enjoy the delicious treats that were on offer.
The event ran smoothly and successfully, and we look forward to another Food Fest soon.
