The Hindi Parishad of SJEC in collaboration with Harmony Association organised an inter-class food fest called ‘Foodilicious’ on December 3, 2019 at the Quadrangle of St. Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous), Bengaluru. The theme of the food fest was ‘Indian culinary diversity’.
The fest began at 3. 30 p.m. and went on till 6.00 p.m. There were 11 food stalls representing various Indian States or Union territories. Students were seen flocking to the stalls to try the different delicacies such as Panjabi Lassi, Vada Pav, Hyderabadi Biriyani, Liitti Chokha, Fish and rice, sweets and fruit salads, etc.
The stalls were judged based on criteria such as presentation, taste and cleanliness. Ms.Indumathi, Dr. KM Mathew, Ms.Megha and Ms.Varsha Madhavan were the judges. I BCA bagged the first prize while B. Com II (A) and B. Com II (B) were the first and the second runners- up respectively.
