Guest Lecture on Challenges Faced by Fresh Graduates, and on Building Employability
The Department of Commerce, St. Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous), organized a Guest Lecture for all the 2nd year B.Com students on 5th July 2018 in the audio-visual room.

Ms. Varsha Madhavan, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, welcomed the Chief Guests: Mr. Reno Raju John and Mr. Mobin Jose Varghese. The speakers began the session by asking the students to be silent for a moment to invoke the blessings of God. Mr. Mobin began the session through a video clip on the challenges faced by young people today. He also gave some examples about the challenges faced by young graduate students. He also spoke on the following topics:
a. Uncertainty;
b. No Real-World Experience;
c. Salary Satisfaction; and
d. The Right platform for Young Graduates
