Hope of Home

On 8th July 2018, Sunday, an outreach programme was conducted by the AICUF Association of St. Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous) from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM at the Home of Hope, an orphanage near Doddagubbi village, Bangalore.

At the orphanage, there are children, young and elderly women, and few men brought there from the roadside, hospitals and other places by a great person known as Auto Raja. He has rescued more than 11,000 people suffering from various illnesses, starvation, and lack of proper shelter and clothing. Auto Raja too had a tough life, and so decided to spend his time reaching out to those in need.

The outreach was an invaluable experience for each one of us. We learnt that we need to help the oppressed and the poor.
