To mark the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola (which is on July 31) a Holy Mass was arranged on July 21, 2017, at 4.45 p.m. at the chapel in St Joseph's Boys High School.
The Mass was celebrated by three renowned Jesuit priests, Rev. Fr. Maxim Dias S.J (our respected Principal), Fr. Jason Furtado, and Fr. Prashanth Madtha.
During the Eucharistic Celebration, Fr. Prashanth Madtha, in his unique jovial manner, conveyed a number of beautiful messages to the students and staff. He stressed the importance of striving to be holy and spoke of noticing God in all aspects of our life as the best way to be happy. He narrated important events in the life of St. Ignatius and inspired us to aspire to greater heights in life.
The atmosphere in the chapel was elevated further by the presence of our college choir directed by Mr. Reynold. They rendered some melodious and heart -touching music.
The Holy Mass was probably the best way to commemorate the holy and auspicious occasion of The Feast of Ignatius of Loyola.
