The management at St. Joseph’s Evening College organised the ‘Ignitors Programme 2017’ on July 13, 14 & 15 for the students of BA, BCA, BBA, MA, and MCom. The programme is an integral formation programme with the objective to ignite the fire of awareness in young minds on various issues like leadership, communication skills, writing skills, notions of law, caste & gender discrimination and so on.
The program addressed the needs of the three levels of learning: head, heart and hands. It included sessions on:
• Faith formation for life
• Skills training & development
• Social analysis
Inputs by expert lecturers, lawyers, social workers and others, under the leadership of Mr. Prashant Kumar (Head of Department, Economics) ensured the success of the event. The best part of the program was the interactive sessions which were fun and productive for the students.
Programmes such as this are essential for the moral & social development of students, and for the upliftment & welfare of the nation.
