The Department of Business Administration organized the Investiture Ceremony and Inauguration of Vision Association, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, and Newsletter Committee on 12th of July 2019 at 7 PM in the AV ROOM. The chief guest for the event was Ms. Candida Louis, the Brand Ambassador of Bajaj Domiar. Other dignitaries included Dr. Kanishka, Head of the Department, and Mr. Ebenezer Sam, Ms, Thara, Mr. Leo and Mr. Dayalan, the faculty members of the department.
The programme commenced with an invocation song and prayer led by the Ms. Michelle and team. Mr. Ebenezer delivered the welcome address, followed by the symbolic watering of the sapling.

The chief guest Ms. Candida Louis then addressed the gathering. She emphasized the importance of passion in the life of an entrepreneur, and the effect it can have in achieving personal and societal goals. Her words of motivation inspired students to turn their passion into business. She concluded her speech stating, “Pursue your passion and create a business arena within”.

Mr. Leo delivered the oath of service to all the members of the ED CELL, Vision Association & Newsletter Committee. All members promised to work sincerely and selflessly towards the growth and development of the students and the department. Ms. Candida Louis was asked to pin the badges to the newly appointed Secretaries and Joint Secretaries of the various clubs and associations.

The action plan of each club and association was outlined by the respective Secretary. Dr. Kanishka then addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to become leaders in their own spheres. Ms. Thara then delivered the vote of thanks.
The inauguration was an apt beginning to the events and activities planned by each club and association over the course of the year. Passion will certainly drive each member to work selflessly in the spirit of Magis.
