All the "AICUF" association members of St. Joseph's Evening College (Autonomous) joined their hands to celebrate the 72nd Independence Day with the oppressed and marginalized people of Sidhapura. The theme was: "Awareness and Importance of Education." Sidhapura is a developing area where we got a chance to interact with the people. We created an awareness on why it is important to be educated. We conducted around 5 - 6 activities for the children of the Sidhapura slum. We distributed sweets and stationery to the children. We ensured that we be the bridge and make a change by educating them.
