Biography :
Indumathi S is an academician with more than seven years of experience as an educator, and three years of experience in the world of media. She is also the author of an adventure novel, The Curious Case: The Legend of the Egyptian Queen. She has an undergraduate degree in BSc with a specialisation in microbiology, and Masters in Communication from St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) in Bangalore. She completed her doctoral studies on romance in Alfred Hitchcock’s films - Film Studies (Mass Communication) at Pondicherry University.

For the past ten years, as a freelance science journalist, Dr. Indu has extensively contributed more than 50 science and environment articles for reputed science magazines such as Down to Earth, and Terra Green. Her research interest and experience is in the field of film studies -Hitchcock films, romantic comedies and their influence on audience, Hollywood films, development communication, science communication, cultural studies, journalism, among other things. Previously, she has worked at CMS, Jain University and Kristu Jayanti College.
