Biography :
Mr. JeffinLijo J, Assistant Professor, Department of English completed his MA (English) from St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Bangalore, BA (English Language and Literature) from Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. He has pursued PGDCE (Post Graduate Diploma in Communicative English) from Bharathiar University. He qualified for Assistant Professor by clearing NET (National Eligibility Test) in June 2019. He has three years of teaching experience. He is specialized in Dalit Literature, Post colonial Studies, Indian Writing in English and Tamil Literature. He is interested in film studies and theatre. He has participated and won many awards for acting during his college days. He has presented and published many research papers in National and International conferences. He held many positions in his teaching career such as AICUF staff coordinator, theatre club coordinator, Literary and Debating Society Coordinator etc. He participated as a panel member and spoke on “Democracy-Minorities and Dalits” in St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Bengaluru. He also spoke on “Tamil Dalits Cultural Production” in META- Jospehite literary fest in St. Joseph’s college of Arts and science, Bengaluru. He was invited as a resource person to address on Dalit identity in film and Literature at St. Anne’s Degree College. . He was invited as a judge for an inter-collegiate debating competition on National Educational Policy 2019 at St. Joseph’s Indian Composite PU College.
