Department of Commerce, St Joseph’s Evening College organized a guest lecture for final year B.Com students on 5th August 2019 in AV Room between 7.30 to 8.55 PM. The lecture was on the topic ‘Recruitment Strategies in MNC’s’ and and was delivered by Mr. Kumaran Sampath. He is the MD & CEO of Olety Finance Pvt. Ltd, and has 23 years of experience in banking industry.

Mr. Kumaran began his lecture with a description of his own journey to success. He emphasized various challenges that candidates, including him, generally face. He explained the role that etiquette and appearance play in the success of an interview. He also focused on the importance of good communication skills. This was followed by an interactive session during which students clarified doubts and explained challenges they have faced during the interview process.

The session ended with a vote of thanks and felicitation of Mr. Kumaran. It was a very fruitful session and helped enhance the students’ professional skills.
