Amidst the pandemic, welcoming the freshers is a difficult task. The Student Council came up with a unique idea to welcome the freshers through a three-part video series, ‘Little stories of SJEC’. Little stories of SJEC, a small video series of three episodes were circulated through social media. The series highlighted college life at SJEC.

The Student Council started the series by releasing a trailer on September 26, 2020 that featured SJEC Principal, Dr Albert Smith. The first episode, ‘alive at 5’ showcased evening life at SJEC and was released on October 6, 2020. The second episode, ‘breezeway’ took a tour of the college campus featuring all the departments. The third and final episode, ‘Timelessness’ was released on October 16, 2020. It recalled all the memories of the past through the empty classrooms, corridors and campus, reminding college life at SJEC.
