Biography :
Maryanne Pais is an Assistant Professor and counsellor at St. Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous), Bangalore. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Christ University. She also qualified as an Assistant Professor under NET in the year 2018. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology at Christ (Deemed to be University).

Prior to working in St. Joseph’s Evening College, Maryanne was employed as a psychotherapist and administrative co-ordinator at New Faces Foundation, an NGO that provides free multispecialty treatment to individuals with facial deformities.

Maryanne is also certified as an NLP Level I practitioner, and has received training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), multi-arts based therapy, and Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). Her broad topics of interest include psychopathology, mental health literacy, adolescent mental health, social psychology, and positive psychology.
