The orientation programme for I year post-graduate students of all combinations was conducted on June 11, 2019 in the AV Room. The programme commenced with the watering of the sapling by dignitaries, and a prayerful song sung by the college choir. Rev. Fr. Brian Pereira, Director of SJEC; Dr. Albert Smith, Principal, Dr. Priya, Vice Principal Dr. Kanishka, HOD of department of Management and IQAC co-ordinator, and Mr. Diwakar, HOD of Department of English inaugurated the programme.

Fr. Brian S.J. welcomed and appreciated the students for their effective approach towards education during their tough times. He stated, “As a Josephite you are here to fulfil the objective of our institution that is academic excellence, social concern and character formation. These are the key principles one needs to follow to get their identity in the society.” Dr. Albert Smith, the Principal also welcomed the students by encouraging them to do well in their academics, and actively participate in co-curricular activities. Mr. Diwakar, the co-ordinator of the programme delivered the vote of thanks.
