The Department of Kannada St. Joseph’s Evening College Organized a grand celebration of 62nd kannada Rajyotsava at Loyola hall on 30/11/2017 at 7.00pm

The Celebration began with the state anthem follow by different forms of cultural activities related to state language land and water.

Shri. Sathaynath the director, actor and ex-student of SJEC was the chief guest of the Event and he put forth his opinion in simple Kannada “kannada Should be everyone’s breath we should preserve and carry out to next generation”

Rev Fr.Jaison Furtado S.J the secretary and treasurer of Bangalore. Jesuit Educational Society and campus minister and head of Kannada Department Dr.K.M Mathew were special guests. Fr. Expressed his opinion “people from different state should respect and love the land and Language were they live” The programme was ended by thanks giving speech.

The celebration was fulfilling and entertaining all the students were delighted it was a guest opportunity to celebrate and know the history. It reminded each and every individual to be responsible for the growth and well-being of Karnataka.
