Eid al-Fitr is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Eid al-Fitr was first celebrated by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. It is observed on the first of the month of Shawwal at the end of the month of Ramadan.
The Harmony Club of St. Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous) organised a Ramzan celebration in the College quadrangle on 25th June 2018. It was a short program of 15 minutes which began with an introduction to the Holy Festival Ramzan. Later, the Principal, Dr. Albert Smith and the Vice Principal, Dr. Priya S presented prizes to the winners of different events. The program ended with a beautiful dance presented by 2nd and 3rd year B.Com students.
