The Student Council of St. Joseph’s Evening College comprises of a group of students elected to represent the student body. Representatives are chosen from the final year undergraduate students of each course, namely BA, BBA, BCA, and B.Com.

The primary role of the student council is to work in collaboration with the staff and management while organising various student events and activities. This includes Tejas, an annual intra-collegiate fest as well as Magnifiesta, an annual inter-collegiate fest. In addition to these responsibilities, council members are also encouraged to act as a liaison between the management and the student body, interacting with the management on behalf of the student body as a whole.
