On January 12 2020, the Department of BBA, SJEC organised international Ted X conference on the theme, ‘Roots , where ideas emerge’ in St. Joseph's Boy's School Auditorium at 10:30 am. The Guest of Honour for the event was Fr. Manoj D’Souza, Director of St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (SJIM). The event started with prayer song by Amal and team followed by lighting of the lamp. TedX student organiser and licensee, Akhil S. Kashinath introduced the concept of TEdX to the audience. Fr Manoj explained the importance of sharing thoughts and ideas to others and the role played by TedX in disseminating ideas. The Principal of SJEC, Dr. Albert Joseph Smith addressed the gathering with a motivational speech.

Twelve speakers took part in the SJEC TEDX and gave thoughtful and meaningful speech. Some of the speakers included Mr. Sarvesh Kakkeri , Business Head, Cubiccode. He spoke about the importance of new age teaching methods in this new age. Dr. Kanishka, the TEDX Conference Convener and HOD of the Department of BBA was also present for the event. Back
