As part of outreach programme for III semester B Com ‘C’, the Bembala Outreach Centre, SJEC
organised a webinar on COVID-19 (Changing Lifestyles Post Pandemic) and an online teaching
programme for school and college dropouts in collaboration with the NGO Careship on
September 4 and 5, respectively.
The resource person for the webinar was Dr Alan Godfrey. A, PG Coordinator for Social Works,
St Joseph’s College (Autonomous). Dr Godfrey gave insights into the changes the pandemic has
caused in our lives and livelihood. He gave valuable tips of healthy living during the pandemic
such as buying fresh vegetables from the vendors, healthy food habits and home remedies,
among others.
During the online teaching programme, the students of B Com conducted a session on money
management for school and college dropouts. The student-trainers shared a few techniques to
manage money.
